Chicken Lazone

   This recipe is our Chicken Lazone. It will serve 4 people.  I list what spices I use most days but feel free to experiment by adding different seasoned salts to the heavy whipping cream in order to finesse the recipe. Also feel free to get creative with add-ins such as sautéed peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc.  I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to share with me your tweaks, pictures, and your own recipes. I always need something to feed the village!

Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breast
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp chili powder
1.5 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
Optional: Pasta, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc.

Directions: If you have add-ins, prepare and set them aside. If you are serving over pasta or rice, cook this as you go!
1. Coat chicken breasts in salt, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder (this is where any spice variations would be used).
2. Melt half the butter (1/8 cup) over medium heat and cook the chicken through, turning once. Approx. 8 min
3. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and simmer until the sauce thickens. Lower the heat.
4. Add the remaining butter and allow to simmer for several more minutes.
5. Add additional toppings to sauce and chicken in the skillet. Heat and serve over pasta/rice.
